Redox chemistry of nickel complexes in aqueous solutions
Article Abstract:
The redox chemistry of nickel in aqueous solutions is presented, as it is relevant to industrial-environmental as well as bioinorganic issues. It is observed that the Ni(super III) complexes with tetraaza-macrocyclic ligands could be stabilized in aqueous solutions by the axial binding of oxoanions.

Structure/function relationships of [NiFe]- and [FeFe]-hydrogenases
Article Abstract:
The study explains the structural and functional relationships between the [NiFe]- and [FeFe]-hydrogenases, which are used for hydrogen production in various organisms. The production of biohydrogen from such photosynthetic organisms can be use to fulfill the global energy requirements.

Computational studies of [NiFe] and [FeFe] hydrogenases
Article Abstract:
The analysis presents various computational studies of the H-H bond cleavage and the formation of different [NiFe] and [FeFe] hydrogenase enzymes. The analysis reveals that the [H.sub.2] molecule is completely nonpolar with a very strong H-H bond.
